We are looking for drivers who possess a unique blend of skills and characteristics:
- Professional Driver: A clean driving record and a valid license are a must.
- Compassionate Caregiver: Prior experience in a care-related field is a plus. You should be patient, empathetic, and ready to provide caring assistance when needed.
- Dedicated to Cleanliness: You must maintain a spotless and odor-free vehicle, with a meticulous attention to hygiene.
- Reliable and Punctual: Our passengers, especially flight crews, depend on your timeliness.
General Driver Requirements (all city, state, and program requirements will be followed)
- Must be at least 21 years old for rideshare or at least 18 years old for delivery
- Must have a valid US Driver’s License
- Must pass a minimal criminal background check for delivery and an extensive one for rideshare
- No felonies, no drug charges, no charges involving violence, etc.
- A lifetime check will be performed on the National Sex Offender Registry
- Must pass a motor vehicle record background check
- No DUI/DWI, state law determines moving violation regulations
- Some programs require a drug/alcohol screening
General Vehicle Requirements
- Must be 4 door vehicle for ride-share.
- Delivery vehicle must be at least 15 years old for delivery.
- Vehicle must be no older than 10 years old for rideshare.
- 3-6 passengers including the Driver for rideshare
- Valid Personal Vehicle Insurance, (in your name with TNC rider for ride-share only)
- Valid Vehicle Registration
- Vehicle Inspection via videos
- No cosmetic or major damage to the vehicle
- Interior must be clean, tidy, and a (NON SMOKING VEHICLE or No Vaping with passengers in the vehicle).

RIDE-SHARE
Ride Local Partner Drivers’ personal automobile insurance policy may not provide uninsured or under-insured motorist coverage when you use a vehicle in connection with the Ride Local digital platform. Ride Local highly suggests drivers have additional coverage known as Rideshare insurance. These policies will cover a rideshare driver whether he or she is “on the APP” or just driving for personal reasons giving you extra protection against loss in case of an accident. If the vehicle you plan to use to transport passengers for Ride Local has a lien against it, you must notify the lienholder that you will be using the vehicle for transportation services that may violate the terms of your contract with the lienholder.
All Ride Local Partner Drivers are required to notify Ride Local of any event that may disqualify you from acting as a TNC partner including a change in your registration, license, or insurance.
Ride Local does not discriminate on the basis of a passenger’s disability with regards to access or cost.
Ride Local has a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy for drivers.

- Cash and credit cards (pre-paid in app) are accepted for fares and tips.
- No Ride given outside the RLR App.
- Be On-Time for All rides or call the office.
- Do Not Accept rides you cannot complete on time.
- No Gaming by positioning in front of known pickup and time.
- Unless Emergency-phone calls are accepted outside the hours between 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.
- Sexual Harassment will not be tolerated.
- Keep information current with RLR documents.
- All Rides must be finished when arriving at drop off locations.
- Drivers must not have passengers that are not paid riders.
- Report all accidents to the Police and then contact the RLR office.
- No tolerance for the use of alcohol or illegal drugs.
